This project was carried out to produce 2500 mesh micronized powder for use on one of the production lines of a PVC manufacturer. In this type of industry, particle size and uniformity have a direct impact on surface quality, strength, color and the way raw materials blend. For this reason, at the start of the project the equipment conditions, formulation type, consumption rate and the expected properties of the final product were reviewed, so that a mineral powder matching the real needs of the production line could be selected.
Once the technical specifications were defined, suitable minerals went through crushing, grinding and classification. Precise adjustment of the equipment kept the particles within the target range and prevented coarse or unsuitable grains from entering the final product. Throughout production, samples were taken regularly and parameters such as mesh, moisture, purity and powder uniformity were checked. These checks ensured consistent quality across every part of the order.
Thanks to its suitable fineness and good dispersibility, the micronized powder performed well when blended with polymer materials. Using this product helped improve surface quality, reduce weak spots and better control raw material costs. After final approval, the product was packed in suitable packaging and shipped to the customer’s plant.
